Product Description

TASTING NOTES: This red wine’s acidity brings out its enjoyable cherry, raspberry and blueberry notes, while firm tannins envelope the wine, creating a fine toasted finish.

FOOD PAIRINGS: Pair it with Italian cuisine, like pasta with tomato or herb sauce, mushroom risotto, and roasted duck.

CHEESE PAIRINGS: include Parmesan, Asiago, Taleggio, and sharp herb cheddar.

Award: Bronze Medal ("Recommended") at the 2009 World Value Wine Challenge. Described as an "Asti-style Barbera with a raisiny-sandalwood nose" by the judges.
