Product Description

We served this delicious cocktail at our December 2010 Blending Party. The muddled raspberries really bring out the true tones of the Sangiovese, while the chocolate takes in a totally different delicious direction.

Ingredients:

  • 6 raspberries
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 2.5 ounces Chianti or Sangiovese
  • 1½ teaspoons sweet cocoa powder
  • Whipped cream
  • Chocolate shavings (optional garnish)

Directions:

  • Muddle raspberries and sugar.
  • Add Chianti or Sangiovese and stir in cocoa powder.
  • Pour in shaker and shake vigorously.
  • Strain into a martini glass.
  • Top with whipped cream and chocolate shavings.
